INSIDE "THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU"

When Mark did "The Island of Dr. Moreau," he played Marlon Brandon's half-leopard/half-son, named "Lo-Mai."

From Mark:

We shot in Cairns, Australia, and I had a great time in spite of my four-hour prosthetic and make-up job each and every day. Stan Winston Studio created my incredible "Lo-Mai" costume, which required a body cast on which the handmade suit was designed to fit perfectly.

Marlon Brandon was quite nice, with a good sense of humor. He pet the dogs on the set a lot..... the REAL ones, that is.

From Mark:
"Yes, here I am... wearing fangs, contact lenses,
and a hand-stitched, one-of-a-kind costume that took months to make."
